Hello everyone!

The other day, I was asked from a guest from overseas where to buy post cards and tools for Japanese calligraphy(Shuji). Then one place came across in my mind immediately.

"Sekaido" located in Shinjuku.

You can take Yamanote Line from Ueno station to this store.

Sekaido is established 1940!

Here has a long history of being one of the best shops for art related products.

Abundant line-up of the items will never make you get bored.

Though you may think this kind of authentic shop is only for professionals, there are many cute and sophisticated daily use stationaries on 1F so the floor is always crowded with walk-in customers. Post cards on this floor too.

You will see goods for anime and comics on the second floor. Feel the origin of Cool-Japan culture!

And 3F is where you can find tools for Japanese calligraphy. I guess here is very interesting for non-Japanese people because they have peculiar and exotic taste.

After fourth floor, many picture frames await you.

Of course, there are more things for experts that I cannot understand at all!

I think once you get into Sekaido, you will be amazed with the colorful view inside (not like this article).

But just be careful, here is attractive enough to steal a big part of your time in Japan!
