Obanzai
Hello!
Have you ever try “Obanzai”(おばんざい)before?
Obanzai is traditional Kyoto-style home cookings.
In general, it is prepared with vegetables, mushrooms and fishes.

Obanzai is seasoned lightly and simply with soy source or dashi.
I will introduce one of my favorite Izakaya, Japanese bar restaurant in Sangenjaya, “Sukoburu”(すこぶる).
Sukoburu means “extremely” or “super” in English.
This Izakaya has a good atmosphere and waiters are so friendly!
It only takes 5 min from Sangenjaya Station, so you can find it easily.
Their Obanzai has a lot of menus from pickles to simmered and dishes vary from day to day.
You can enjoy seasonal ingredients in Japan!
There are more dishes other than Obanzai.

This March, a new branch was opened in Nihonbashi area!
If you have any chance, please try Obanzai there!
