Day Trip HAKONE Itinerary

Hello, everyone!

How are you doing??

The summer season is over, you can feel autumn.

Autumn has come!!!

I would you like to recommend around Hakone area.

Have you been to there??

Hakone is hot spring (ONSEN) and a mountainous area

in Kanagawa Prefecture. Also there is rich nature too.

About 2 hours from Tokyo. Easy traveling distance from Tokyo.

Lake Ashinoko

About 35min from Hakoneyumoto station by bus.

A volcanic crater lake famous for its beautiful view of Mount Fuji.

The best views of the lake in combination with Mt,Fuji can be enjoyed from Moto-Hakone from the Hakone Detached place garden and from the sightseeing boats cruising the lake.

A famous sight on the cruise is the floating Torri gate of the Hakone shrine as well as Mount Fuji on days when the skies are clear.

The boat leaves about 1–2 times an hour so check the boat schedule to plan

Your trip!!

Owakudani Valley of Hell

Owakudani is a hell valley in Hakone Along the Hakone Ropeway. Visitors can walk along a short trail into the volcanic zone to view the steam vents and bubbling pools. Many people also purchase and eat eggs that were cooked in the naturally hot water.

On clear days, good views of Mt Fuji can be enjoyed from Owakudani.

The smoky atmosphere of Owakudani will add to the ‘flavor’ of the egg. It’s also said that eating the eggs makes you live seven years longer – so what are you waiting for? Try them!
